Week 42 of The 50 Stitches Crochet Along

Week 42 Of The 50 Stitches Crochet Along. The Mosaic Panel

You can find the links for all the squares in the crochet along here. The free pattern is below, but if you’d like the ad free printable version, it is available either as part of my Lifetime Pattern Pass, or you can purchase it on its own for £5 from Ravelry

This pattern is written in US terms, but the UK translation is below.

UK Translation

Single crochet (sc) = double crochet

Double crochet (dc) = treble crochet

The Pattern

For the panel you will need a 3.5mm hook

The first and last stitch of each row is a sc made in both loops, all other sc are made in the back loop only. All dc are made in the front loop of the sc 2 rows below (in the same colour as the row you’re currently making)

The stitches the mosaic stitch uses

All rows are made without turning. Cut your yarn after finishing each row

Mosaic crochet is usually read using charts. The chart is below and shows what your work should look like after your dc stitches cover the sc in the row below. The X shows where you should make a dc.

The pink lines show where the repeat starts and ends. Repeat the 17 stitch repeat in the middle 12 times.
